Розвиток ідей та дослідження загального машинобудування в Одеському політехнічному інституті учнями і послідовниками В. О. Добровольського.

Abstract

У статті розглянуто наукову діяльність і професійний шлях відомих дослідників, що відносяться до наукової школи видатного вченого Одеського політехнічного інституту, доктора технічних наук, професора – В.О. Добровольського. Проаналізовано їх наукові праці та винаходи, що отримали широке практичне застосування в промисловості, внесок у розбудову ОПІ, в ролі педагогів, дослідників, наукових керівників і завідуючих кафедр. Відзначено вагому роль учнів вченого для подальшого розвитку науки в Україні.

The article deals with the scientific activity and professional way of wellknown researchers, students the scientific school of the outstanding scientist of Odessa Polytechnic Institute, doctor of technical sciences, professor –V. O. Dobrovolsky. The contribution of Victor Opanasovich and his scientific school to the development of domestic machine-building was analyzed. Their scientific researches, discoveries and inventions on gear train, structures and calculations of mechanisms, materials science, which have received wide practical application at many industrial enterprises of Ukraine, were considered. The achievements of his followers in the development of the OPI, in the role of teachers, researchers, scientific leaders and heads of departments were noted. Great attention was paid to professor, doctor of technical sciences – K. I. Zablonsky – one of the most outstanding students of the scientific school of V. O. Dobrovolsky. Also much attention was paid to activities and achievements of prof. K. I. Zablonsky as Head of the Department of Applied Mechanics and the rector of the Institute, to a huge scientific work on gear train and machine designs, as a member of international organizations and projects on mechanical engineering, to K. I. Zablonsky’s scientific school and its place in the history of the OPI. The role of followers of prof. V. O. Dobrovolsky in the preparation of materials, writing and editing, one of the best and famous (for his time) textbook «Details of Machines» was evaluated. The article highlights the importance of the V. O. Dobrovolsky and his scientific school laying the foundations of the OPI as one of the leading centers of technical education in Ukraine and the development of Ukrainian and world science.
