Complex analysis of Russia-Armenia strategic partnership (part 2)

Abstract

In the 2016 edition of the Russian Foreign Policy Concept appeared a note where the Republic of Armenia is uniquely recognized as a strategic partner of the Russian Federation. Of course, such a record would not have appeared in such an important political document without the high standard of military-political and economic cooperation between Russia and Armenia. For its part, Armenia's foreign policy doctrine unambiguously explains the Republic's aspiration to strengthen its close, strategic partnership with Russia. But as it is said, there is no relationship without a problem, as a problem - without a relationship. That is why there are some "black holes" in the bosom of Russian-Armenian relations. It should be noted, however, that none of them has been the basis for revising Armenia's foreign policy vector till today.
