Дослідження системи граничного контролю помножувача із зростанням кількості відмов

Abstract

The object of the study is the process of boundary checking of a single-precision iterative array multiplier of mantissas under the action of its multiple faults. The subject of the study is reliability of the boundary checking of the iterative ar- ray multiplier of mantissas of single accuracy under the action of its multiple faults. The purpose of the work is to study the boundary checking to determine the trust- worthiness of the results calculated in the iterative array multiplier of mantissas under the influence of its multiple faults. Methods of researches are based on elements of the theory of diagnostics of com- puters, probability theory, the theory of algorithms and mathematical logic and also the applied theory of digital automatic machines. Master work addressed the problem of checking arithmetic devices for processing approximate data. Traditional checking methods show poor effectiveness in assessing the trustworthiness of approximate results. The development of non-traditional checking methods was becoming desirable. Algorithms and software model of boundary checking of iterative array multiplier of mantissas have been developed. Probabilities of emergence, detection and the admis- sion of essential and inessential errors and reliability of results checking are investigat- ed. The reliability of the results calculated in the iterative array multiplier of mantissas under the influence of multiple faults was investigated.

Об’єкт дослідження – процес граничного контролю матричного помножува- ча мантис дією його кратних несправностей. Предмет дослідження – достовірність граничного контролю матричного пом- ножувача мантис одинарної точності під дією його кратних несправностей. Мета роботи – дослідження граничного контролю для визначення достовір- ності результатів, що обчислюються у матричному помножувачі мантис під дією його кратних несправностей. Методи досліджень базуються на елементах теорії діагностики обчислюва- льних пристроїв, теорії ймовірностей, теорії алгоритмів та математичної логіки, а також прикладній теорії цифрових автоматів. Магістерська робота розглядає проблему контролю арифметичних пристро- їв для обробки приблизних даних. Традиційні методи контролю демонструють низьку ефективність в оцінці достовірності приблизних результатів. Стає доціль- ним розвиток нетрадиційних методів контролю. Розроблено алгоритми та програмну модель схеми граничного контролю матричного помножувача мантис. Досліджено ймовірності появи, виявлення й пропуску суттєвих і несуттєвих помилок. Проведено дослідження достовірності результатів, що обчислюються у матричному помножувачі мантис під дією крат- них відмов.
