dc.description.abstract The paper presents a technique for calculation of coordinate values of the extremum of electrocardiograms signals based on wavelet transform optimization. The procedures for evaluating of the coordinates of R waves and the intervals between them for electrocardiograms based on the search with the Haar wavelet function are given. The such parameters calculation error under conditions of noise levels is studied. The influence of the length of the support of the Haar wavelet function and the step size on the speed of the search is estimated. en
