В статті перераховано численні приклади топонімів Херсонщини , які характеризують багату і дуже цікаву історію нашого краю . Бажання автора узагальнити матеріал щодо заселення півдня України з найдавніших часів до середини минулого століття на прикладі малої батьківщини , що є результатом довгих років пошуку музейних працівників та краєзнавців

Numerous examples of Kherson region place names are enumerated in the article. These place names describe a rich and very interesting history of our mother land. The aim of this article is to summarize data as for settling of the south of Ukraine from ancient times to the middle of the last century by the example of our small birthplace country.
