Стаття
містить
відомості
по
заселенню
рідного
краю
з
часів
античної
історії
до
періоду
новітньої
історії
,
через
назви
різноманітних
географічних
об
’
єктів
,
відомості
про
які
зустрічаємо
в
великій
кількості
письмових
джерел
та
описів
археологічних
знахідок
.
Крім
того
,
особливу
увагу
було
приділено
саме
вивченню
назв
населених
пунктів
і
гео
-
графічних
зон
та
об
’
єктів
сучасної
території
Херсонської
області
,
спроба
систематизувати
топоніми
за
наявністю
«
основної
ознаки
»,
через
призму
історії
їх
виникнення
,
становлення
та
зникнення
.
Маю
надію
,
що
дане
дослідження
зацікавить
як
викладачів
і
студентів
,
так
і
звичайних
громадян
,
бо
в
ньому
зібрані
та
систематизовані
відомості
про
майже
80
відсотків
назв
рідного
краю
,
які
зберегли
відомості
про
заселення
,
існування
і
розвиток
Херсонської
області
з
давніх
часів
до
сучасності

to the period of contemporary history, due to the

of which meet in the large number of written
sources and descriptions of archaeological finds.
in addition, special attention was paid to the
study of names of settlements and geographic
areas and objects of the modern territory of
Kherson region, an attempt to systematize the
toponyms for the presence of the "main
features", through the prism of history of their
emergence, formation and disappearance.
I hope that this research is of interest to
both t eachers and students, and ordinary
citizens, because it collected and systematized
information on nearly 80 percent of names of
native land, kept information about the
settlement, the existence and development of the
Kherson region from ancient times to the
present.
