Идеографические и номотетические аспекты в политологии

Abstract

В гуманитарных науках подходы, ориентирующиеся на классические идеалы научности, рассматривают политологию как относительно строгую теорию, в отличие от идеографического толкования политологии, где она рассматривается как преимущественно дескриптивная теория. В какой мере политология может приобрести базовые признаки классической теории зависит от увеличения использования применительно к ней строгой методологической базы.

В гуманітарних науках підходи, що орієнтуються на класичні ідеали науковості, розглядають політологію як строгу теорію, на відміну від ідеографічного тлумачення політології, де вона розглядається переважно як дескриптивна теорія. Якою мірою політологія може придбати базові ознаки класичної теорії залежить від збільшення використання стосовно неї суворої методологічної бази.

In humanities the approaches that focus on classical canons of science, consider political science as rather strict theory, that is opposed to the ideographic interpretation of political science, where it is considered as mainly descriptive theory. In what measure the political science can get basic signs of the classi cal theory depends on increasing of the strict methodological base concerning politscal science it self. To the scientific theory unlike the concept include s itself the strictly certain components and requirements. In strict sense the theory is the most developed form of scientific knowledge which gives more or less integral idea about regularities and essential characteristics of the objects in natural or social reality. Furthermore, the scientific theory (whether it be the theory from the field of natural sciences or social sciences) potentially has to assume a possibility of verification and falsification of the provisions that formulated in it. Certainly, it is impossible to demand from the poli tical science that it has instantly found all signs of the strict scientific theory. It is obvious that the solution of these tasks requir es a certain methodological base. In searching of this base the researcher can at first look through a methodological arsenal of the political discipline itself, and in this area he can discover a number of the settled methodological approaches. And at last, it would be possible to define, if any of these approaches or their combination can act as the general methodological base of this science, or if necessary to borrow some methodological base of congenial to the political science discipline.
