Театральний костюм і національна ідентичність: лінії перетину

Abstract

Продемонстровано зв’язок театрального костюма та національної ідентичності. Представлено кілька способів її репрезентації на прикладі репертуару Одеського українського музично-драматичного театру ім. В. В. Василька. Доведено, що ефективність здійснюваної в національному театрі репрезентації етнокультурної ідентичності та її актуалізації в театральному костюмі, значною мірою обумовлена логікою розвитку історичного контексту.

Продемонстрирована связь театрального костюма и национальной идентичности. Представлено несколько способов ее репрезентации на примере репертуара Одесского украинского музыкально- драматического театра им. В. В. Василька. Доказано, что эффективность осуществляемой в национальном театре репрезентации этнокультурной идентичности и ее актуализации в театральном костюме в значительной мере обусловлена логикой развития исторического контекста.

The main question. The article aims to demonstrate what methods of representation national identity finds on the theater stage. For the analysis was taken the national costume on the stage of the Odessa Ukrainian Theater. V. Vasilkа. Methodology of research. We regard the national theater costume as text. This text is inscribed in the sociocultural context and responds to it. We systematized all the performances of the theater. V. Vasilko, in which there is a national paraphernalia. Analyzed Ukrainian folk costume on the stage of the theater. Revealed the pattern of ways of representing national identity with it. Results. The theatrical form of representation of ethnocultural experience is aimed at helping new generations of viewers to understand deeply and in a dignified manner to appreciate the past of their people and their attitude to the outside world. However, the solution to these tasks involves a high level of representation of the cultural constants of ethno-cultural identity. The main types of stage representation of the mental qualities of the people, its distinctive history and culture are: interpretation, imitation, stylization, reconstruction. The National Theater became one of the most important institutions of Ukrainian culture, which mastered and interpreted the philosophy of national life. At the same time, the theater retains the heritage of the national culture, reconstructs and updates the ethno-cultural identity. Conclusions. The folk costume on the Ukrainian soil existed and developed in a complex system of the everyday manner of the people. This costume is a kind of cultural code that can translate information from one culture to another, as well as from the past to the future. Such a suit occupies an important place in the system of folk culture and acts as a spiritual education, full of meaning, transmitted through signs, symbols. The theatrical form of representation of ethnocultural experience is aimed at helping new generations of viewers to understand deeply and in a dignified manner to appreciate the past of their people and their attitude to the outside world.
