Аннотация:
Surveys are a popular tool for decision-making support. However, the quality of survey results significantly affects the quality of decisions made on their basis. Firstly based on Shannon’s formula, we evaluated the average amount of information received from the group survey. Then we analyzed the information loss caused by omissions and duplication of answers to the questionnaire. Next on the modeled data, we showed the existence of a sufficient respondents’ number to reduce the effect of data distortion. Finally, we proposed to use various types of dashboards for visual assessing the appropriateness of data.
