dc.description.abstract Foreign language training for police officers plays a crucial role in enhancing their communication skills and effectiveness in diverse, multicultural environments. This training not only focuses on linguistic proficiency but also incorporates psychological features essential for successful communication in high-pressure situations. Police officers must develop both verbal and non-verbal communication strategies to engage effectively with individuals from various cultural backgrounds. The psychological aspects, such as emotional intelligence, stress management, and cognitive flexibility, are vital in ensuring that officers can remain calm and efficient during critical interactions. Additionally, understanding the cognitive and emotional challenges involved in language acquisition is key to optimizing the learning process for law enforcement personnel. Overall, combining communicative competence with psychological insights in foreign language training enhances the police officer’s ability to resolve conflicts, build trust, and ensure public safety in linguistically diverse contexts. en
