Проводится сравнительный анализ синтаксических, стилистических, лексических и статистиче-ских особенностей в текстах двух жанров языка права – формул изобретений (патентов) и судеб-но-процессуальных документов, чтобы обосновать с точки зрения лингвистики правомерность введения в юридический дискурс жанра формул изобретений (патентов). В соответствии с выпол-ненным анализом представлены доказательства того, лингвистические характеристики обоих жан-ров в большинстве своем совпадают, что дает возможность считать тексты жанра патентов частью юридического дискурса.
The paper is devoted to the comparative analysis of syntactic, stylistic, lexical and statistical peculiarities of the texts of two genres included in the language of law – patents and judicial documents, in order to prove the validity of patent genre introduction in judicial discourse from the linguistic viewpoint. As a re-sult of the described analysis the coincidence of the majority of linguistic characteristics of both genres is proved that is why the texts of patents can be considered as a part of judicial discourse.
