The article is dedicated to generalization of the experience of professional training of social workers in the USA,Canada, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Australia;the analysis of the specifics of such training in different countries; determination of priority forms and methods of training specialists in social work. As a result of the analysis it has
been found out that the positive experience of social workers training in other countries can be used in Ukraine, taking into account the peculiarities and traditions of the
national higher school.
